I must say, October was great for seeing wonderful people. Who knew Lynchburg and Atlanta could be such lovely places to spend time? Add in an event in Philly, and the month was fantastic.

I love hearing people growing their business, especially my retailers! Congratulations to Karen Beebe, Queen of Hearts, and the newest store: Modern Love! Providence, RI, is lucky to have a new shoe store, on top of the already awesome sister store Queen of Hearts. If you’re in Providence, be sure to swing by Westminster Street to check it out. You’ll find some Irregular Choice shoes as well as other goodies from Consolidated Shoe and beyond! Karen’s got a great eye (she’s also the designer behind Lucille) and is a sweet lady, to boot.

One of our favorite Chicagoland shops co-hosted a fabulous runway show with top fashion destination, CHICtopia, for the re-launch of their website, Akira 2.0. The popular multi-store fashion mecca showcased looks available on the new site, all set amidst the creative glamour and style that only Akira can deliver.
